Luninets ethnographic museum was founded September 1, 1978 The permanent exhibition is open to visitors 17 February 1986 in 1997, the museum was closed for renovation, after which the ground floor operates a showroom. May 18, 2007 at the International Museum Day officially opened a new exhibition away in five halls. The exposition of the museum displays objects that tell the history of the city and the district. Part of the exhibition is devoted to ethnography, part - building on Poles'e railway. In some halls feature exhibits that relate to the period 1921 - 1939 years., World War II, the post-war period of modernity. Display area of the museum halls is 170 m2. The total number of museum objects 13,268, of which 10,368 objects of the main fund, auxiliary science subjects 2,900. The most important museum collections are collections of ethnography, numismatics. Museum staff conducted a museum-pedagogical training, outreach programs and exhibitions.
