History of the development
The village Levki was the place of life and work of the famous Belarusian playwright - Y. Kupala. In 1935, after visiting these places, being on a business trip, Y. Kupala was admiring the beauty of the Orsha region and decided to build country house on the banks of the Dnieper River. Here he came every year, while there since early spring to late autumn. Currently, in the village is located Kupala Memorial Reserve, which opened in 1978 and occupies an area of 19 hectares.
Tourism potential
Village attractions connected with the life and work of Belarusian poet Yanka Kupala. It is memorial park of Kupala «Levki» and monument to Yanka Kupala.
