History of the development - Logishin

The first settlement is mentioned in 1552. In the XVII century is the property of the Radziwills. In 1795, after the division of the Polish-Lithuanian Commonwealth, it became part of the Russian Empire and became the center of Pinsk district. In 1828 Logishin got the status of a town. From 1940 to 1962, the town is the center of the Logishin district.

Tourism potential - Logishin

In Logishin you can find a very typical architectural ensemble for Belarus - a church and a church located on the same square in the historical part of the city. Thus, one of the main attractions of the city Logishin is the Catholic Church of Peter and Paul, built in neo-gothic style in 1909. The temple is in excellent condition and is an important architectural monument of the early XX century. Another attraction of the settlement is the Church of Transfiguration in Logishin in the second half of the XIX century in the retrospective-Russian style.
