Republican festival-fair «Dozhinky-2010» will be held from 24 till 26 September in Lida. During the festival of the village workers there will be a number of places, which will host cultural events. The main stage will be located near the Palace of Culture, close to the river Lideyka. A ceremony held to award the best workers of the village and the concert program with the participation of Belarusian celebrities is planned as well as other important events.
In the central square of the city there will be pop songs site, the organizers have decided to call it "Play and sing, earth spirit." Folk music scene and the kharavai site will be located on Gedimin avenue. Historical and cultural programs will be presented at Lida Castle. Activities for children are planned in the city park of culture and recreation. There will be a variety-game program, "Happy kids - happy family. ART-kіrmash is going to be located at the Historical and Art Museum, those who are willing to take part in sports and gaming events will be able at the stadium "Youth».
In the town before the opening celebration will be a theatrical performance "Zaprashaem on Dazhynki, solemn procession participants of the festival, a parade of brass bands. Will work with the city of masters.
The main direction of the cultural program will be folk art. The city will gather representatives of this genre of many Belarusian cities: Grodno, Oshmyany, Smorgon, Dyatlova, Porecye, Mosty, Volkovysk, Ivye, Zelva, Vitebsk, Mozyr, and others. Local Lida representatives will also give their performances. Considerable amount of time will be dedicated to popular music, performances of amateur vocal groups.
