Centre for traditional culture and village life Pleban was opened in May 2009 as a branch of the museum History of the Belarusian literature. There are 6 exhibition halls in the Center:
  • сhildren's work room;
  • works by artists of the city and the district;
  • the hall of the decorative and applied arts;
  • hall of the peasant life of the XIX century;
  • hall dedicated to the uprising of 1863-1864 under the leadership of K. Kalinowski;
  • ecofriendly hall dedicated to flax products.
  • The neighboring former house of the Catholic priest is decorated in a rustic style and made of natural wood with fireplaces. Guests will not only comfortably spend time in the halls, but also get acquainted with the history of the place. Across the road is an ancient temple. Now it is the Holy Assumption Church. On the territory of the Center there is an ancient spring, where you can collect clean, clear water.

     Before the New Year holidays, you can meet with Santa Claus - give him a letter, talk, dance, take part with the Snow Maiden in the master class for making a New Year's souvenir.

    The Center organizes traditional folk festivals - Kalyady, where you can taste traditional kashutka, Maslenitsa with pancakes and traditional fun, Kupala and others.

    In this place you will feel a surge of strength and a unique color of the Belarusian nature.
