Gomel Regional Museum of Military Glory is a landmark destination for anyone interested in Belarusian military history. The complex was established to mark the 60th anniversary of the country’s liberation from Nazi invaders and officially opened on April 26, 2005. The permanent exhibition, spread across eight halls on two floors, highlights key moments in the military history of the Gomel region — from ancient times to the present day. Particularly captivating is the spacious outdoor area featuring over 40 pieces of military equipment, a reconstruction of a partisan camp, a medical train car, and a functioning interactive shooting range — making a visit to the museum both educational and genuinely engaging.
Exposure
Stationary exposition devoted to the reflection events of military history Gomel region from ancient times to the present day. The exhibition is located in the eight rooms on two floors of the museum.
Exhibition of military equipment of the ХХ century working in the open air museum. It presents 35 pieces of military equipment of the twentieth century. Visitors can see the airborne combat vehicle «BMD-1», self-propelled anti-aircraft ZSU-23-4 «Shilka».
