Ushachy museum of the national glory name after V.Е. Lobanok

Ushachy museum of the national glory name after V.Е. Lobanok was founded in 1969. It opened on 6 November 1970. The second permanent exhibition opened on 29 June 1974. The Council of Ministers of Belarus on March 3, 1999 the museum named after V.E. Lobanok. Vladimir Eliseevich Lobanok -   colonel, organizer and leader of the Communist underground and guerrilla movement in the temporarily occupied territory of the BSSR, First Secretary of the Lepel district committee of the Communist underground Party of Belarus, Lepel guerrilla commander Brigade of Stalin. Over the years,V.I. Brick, A.L. Medvedev, I.P. Golik  led  the museum.

The museum consists of the main building on the street Lenin, department "Farmstead Museum of Vasil Bykov" in the village Bychki, memorial complex "Proryv". Exhibition area museum premises is 332 m2 of exhibition - 244 m2, the total number of museum objects 20,377, of which the main fund 14196, auxiliary science 6181. Museum head has 4 exhibition halls, covering the history of the guerrilla movement on Ushachy during World War memorial guerrilla gallery and showroom. The museum collected materials about the past Ushachy about the revolutionary events of 1917, the Civil War, collectivization and repressions 30s and early partisan movement in the region and fight the guerrillas and the population Ushachy guerrilla zone with the Nazi invaders during Great War of Heroes of the Soviet Union A.F. Donukalov, FF Dubrovsky, V.E. Lobanok, P.M. Romanov, I. Timciuc, M.A. Egorov, Full Cavalier of the Order of Glory of A.A. Klopov. In resumed in 1978, guerrilla art gallery (Artist D. Babkin), which operated in the winter 1942-1943. headquarters Partisan Brigade "Oak", exhibited paintings, drawings, engravings, watercolors and satirical anti-fascist posters, personal things guerrilla artists N.T. Gutiev, N.I. Obrynby, linen V.A. Gromyko. Stored materials on famous countrymen, known figures in literature, art and science P.Brovki, V. Bykov, R. Borodulin, E. Moose, S. Zakonnikove, O. Saltuk, Verigo-Darevskaya, F. Verenko, A. Boryshnikove, R. Chebotarev, T. Matyushkovoy etc.

The new museum building was built in 1982. On the main facade monumental composition "Proryv" by Yuri Lyubimov in lobby - mural painting on "Fascism will not pass" "Fighting for Life", "Liberation", "Bread of the earth" and "collapse of fascism" artist V. Krivoblotskogo.

The museum has branches: memorial "Proryv" and homestead-museum national writer of Belarus Vasil Bykov. Homestead restored and opened in 2004. On the grounds are kept the house where the writer spent his childhood. Around the house - trees, planted by the father of the writer. The house etnografichno-household exhibition, which presented household items which was used by the family. Have books autographed by poets and writers of Belarus, Russia, Ukraine and other countries. Among exhibits - copies of drawings V. Bykov, tape honorary citizen Ushachi District, personal belongings of the writer.

Museum awarded diplomas management culture Vitebsk Regional Executive Committee, a diploma of Ministry of Culture of the USSR, Soviet War Veterans Committee.
