Museum of Folk Architecture and Life in Strochitsy invites to the reconstruction of the ancient rites of Polissya «Velikodnaya Strilka», which will be held April 22, 2017 from 15:00 to 17:00. «Strilka» is an ancient spring ritual dance, which is held annually in the West Polesie on the first day of Easter.

Visiting the Museum of Folk Architecture and Life you can get acquainted with spring round dance traditions, participate in the reconstruction of the rites «Strilky» together with exemplary ensemble of folk dance «Lipachka» and national folk music ensemble «Papinskiya musyki», enjoy traditional folk music, dances and games! The program of events will be attended by student groups Belarusian State University of Culture and Arts Department of Ethnology and Folklore.

Also during the event, you can buy souvenirs from artisans and visit the «Belaruskaya karchma», which is located on the territory of the museum.
