Description

At the Ditva peat briquette factory you will have a fascinating excursion, get acquainted with the local railway station, depot and machinery for peat extraction. Here you will see how the "black gold" of the Belarusian land is extracted. Special machinery is used for peat extraction, which is interesting to look at from the outside. In the depot you can see various samples of narrow-gauge rolling stock, and afterwards you can take a ride on one of them. Let's be inspired by the history of narrow gauge trains. It turns out that there are a lot of people who overcome huge distances for the sake of a few hours of riding on narrow-gauge railway. Who knows, perhaps just one excursion to the TBZ will make you interested in the amazing history of their origin on the territory of Belarus. We will see untouched corners of nature and, if you are lucky, wild animals and birds. Go deep into the vast marshlands - another reason to take a ride on the narrow-gauge railway. Despite human intervention, such places have managed to retain a certain wildness and primordiality. The main objective is to gain a lot of new knowledge, feel inexpressible emotions from what you have seen, and spend your weekend actively and usefully.
