Museum of deformities of the human body Grodno Medical University

Unique in Belarus Museum deformities of the human body Grodno Medical University was opened on 13 October 2000 in the city of Grodno. The idea of creating a museum in Grodno teratological belongs to Yuri and Valentina Kiselevsky Kurchanovu. However, the beginning of the collection itself put Usoev Professor Sergey, Head of the Department, a geneticist and a pathologist.

The exhibition "Grodno curiosities" is located in the department of normal anatomy in a historic building of the XVI century, which according to legend was carried out first in Europe King autopsy of the Commonwealth Stefan Batory. Exposure collection includes about 70 unique teratological preparations - "Siamese twins", "mermaid", "Janus", "Cyclops", "anencephaly", the fruit of the numerous developmental disabilities.
