Description

The building of the former district court is a monument of architecture of the 19th century. It is built in 1883.
The art museum is in the building, founded in 1992 as branch of regional museum of local lore. Collections of the Russian and European porcelain and faience XVIII – the beginning of the XX centuries, an embroidery of the Belarusian masters of the first half of the 19th century, ware of Naliboksky and Urechsky manufactories of the 18th century are presented to expositions. Collections of icons, arts and crafts, oven tiles of production of the Belarusian plants, works of the famous Russians, Belarusian, Jewish masters of painting (Z.I.Azgur, L. M. Leytman, I. K. Ayvazovsky, V. V. Vereshchagin, I. I. Levitan, A. I. Kuindzhi, V. K. Byalynitskogo-Biruli, I.F.Khrutsky, etc.) are stored in funds of the museum.
