Description

Volpovsky Church of St. John the Baptist is a monument of wooden architecture with elements of Baroque architecture. It built in 1773 by Jan Nepamukom Kossakovsky on the site of the church of the 16th century. In 1889 it restored.

It is two-towered temple square. The interior is preserved icons of 17-18 centuries - "The Annunciation", "The Mother of God of Czestochowa," "Mother of God with the child and Saints Dominic and Catherine of Siena," "Stigmatization of St. Francis".
