Description

Church of St. Thaddaeus - a monument of baroque architecture with features of classicism. Built in 1766-1778 years. the means, Magdalena Elzbieta Puzynya mission to the Jesuits. This is a two-towered basilica with a semicircular trehnefovaya apse. On the main facade of the tower and stand two-tiered shaped shield. At the top: large clock with fight (appeared after World War II), the batter during every 15 minutes every hour. The walls and vaulting inside the church decorated with frescoes in the technique of ”grisaille”. Above the entrance to the temple located choirs with organ, installed in 1810 year. Before the church installed the world”s first monument to Benedict XVI .
